Quantum and WeLink have come together to invest in, build and operate solar photovoltaic power plants in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Q uantum is a founding partner of BDK Financial Group (BDK), a pan-African banking group operating in Senegal (Bank of Dakar), Abidjan (Bank of Abidjan), Mali (Credit Kash) and Conakry.
Q uantum is a founding partner of La Frontera VR, a Spanish leading company in the creation of contents related to interactive virtual reality.
Q uantum and WeLink invest in, build and operate solar photovoltaic power plants that enable companies to access this cutting-edge technology and to take advantage of clean energy supply with a stable and competitive cost, from clean sources.
Thanks to this collaboration, we can rely on the broad experience of WeLink, which has already managed very successful projects under EPC and O&M systems for a total of 750MW, of which 272MW correspond to the photovoltaic plants that are already built and 486MW to the ones which are currently under construction or in RTB stage.
In the United Kingdom they have built the largest solar park in the country, which has an installation of a private network for commercial use. They also have other current projects, such as the construction of the biggest solar plant in Europe and a 220MW photovoltaic plant in Minbu, Myanmar, which will be the biggest in south-east Asia.
Quantum is a founding partner of BDK Financial Group, which delivers banking services in different countries in West Africa—Senegal (Bank of Dakar), Abidjan (Bank of Abidjan), Mali (Credit Kash) and Conakry—as part of their commitment to long-term development of the countries in which they operate and their areas of influence. They work on the base of investment, microfinancing and retail banking with a clear commitment to the development of telephone banking in line with the development of those countries' banking processes.
In the projects carried out by Quantum's clients, communication has great significance. That is why we offer comprehensive services focused on target customers. For instance, in the case of an airport renovation, among its addresses the campaign will include the population affected by the works, business organizations of the country, airlines, travel agencies, etc. to receive the necessary feedback about the corresponding project.
For all these reasons, Quantum has invested in La Frontera VR
A leading company in the creation of contents related to interactive virtual reality. La Frontera VR has carried out several projects for companies belonging to very varied sectors, such as health (ROCHE), cosmetics (LANCÔME), the third sector (AMREF), banking (OPENBAK) or audiovisual content (VIRTUAL HERO), among others.
